University Colleges Leuven-Limburg

Belgium 🇧🇪

The University Colleges Leuven-Limburg is a higher education institution in Flanders, Belgium and a member of the KU Leuven Association. Three strong university colleges have become one to expand our opportunities for our students. At this moment, UC Leuven-Limburg is among Flanders’ largest UCs and has thus become a major player in its higher educational landscape.

UCLL groups a large number of study programmes and research teams into five study areas: Teacher Education, Health, Welfare & Social Work, Management and Technology. We are hosting some 14,000 students and 1,500 staff members in our study programmes, spread over 9 campus sites in the Leuven and Limburg region.

Our Research and Expertise department consists of over 300 researchers, divided over 8 expertise centra: sustainable resources, health innovation, inclusive society, resilient people, education & development, digital solutions, smart organisations and art of teaching. Within the expertise cel of inclusive society, we have a specific unit ‘sport as leverage for inclusion’. It is from within this unit, that UCLL is contributing to the VOMGO project. UCLL was already a partner in the previous Villages On Move Network and will be responsible for the dissemination of the current VOMGO project.
